The presenter, who has been trending for the past few days, admitted that he was a sad man.
Mwakideu revealed that he lost his elder sister back in the day, and it still pains his family to this day.
What happened to Alex Mwakideu’s sister?
The presenter revealed that his family has never found closure on what happened to his sister, who was working in Malindi at the time.
Mwakideu disclosed that she was found dead in her house, and his family never knew what led to her demise.
“It pains me to say that when I was 15, I lost my sister, Caroline Wanjala Mwakideu. She was older than Rozina and was working in Malindi at the time. She was found dead at her home, and we still don’t know what caused her death,” said Mwakideu.
The media personality added that a postmortem showed that she was strangled, and his family decided to close the case.

Caroline’s death continues to pain Mwakideu, and he often ponders how life might have been different.
“They said that after the postmortem, either she was strangled. I don’t want to say she did it herself, but she was found dead. We decided to leave the case as a family since it hurt us so much. She was my sister,” he added.
