Bahati dropped his new song Seti after taking a one-year break from the music industry, sparking mixed reactions.
Some netizens claimed the song was immoral and wondered why Bahati left the gospel industry despite promising to “never leave God”.
What did Pastor T say about Bahati?
While in church, Pastor T shared that Bahati may open doors to immorality that will ultimately affect his lineage.
“I look at some of our musicians and my heart cries for them. Fame-hungry that a man can produce a song that looks dirty. So that men can talk. That is the appetite of fame. What that young man does not know is that he could be opening a door to iniquity for his own children. He may not pay the price but his children may be the one to suffer,” said Pastor T.
The preacher added that when he saw the video, he began to pray for Bahati, emphasising the repercussions he might suffer.

What did Bahati tell Pastor T?
However, while in an interview on Radio Maisha, Bahati scoffed at the preacher and told him that it is his kids who will suffer.
“Isn’t Mr T the one who has been praying in gospel and struggling? He has been struggling…for a long time. He was singing so deeply and praying. For me, I do not want to not be real. Now T where you destroyed things is creating content and dragging my kids. That is why I have sent it back to the sender. It is his kids who will suffer, not mine,” said Bahati.
