What happened to Kariobangi North MCA?

The by-election follows the untimely death of Munuve, who passed away while travelling to his office in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

Munuve reportedly suffered severe chest pains and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His body was later moved to Lee Funeral Home pending an autopsy.

The Nairobi County Assembly described Munuve as a dedicated leader committed to his constituents and public service.

His sudden death was considered a significant loss to both the assembly and the wider Nairobi community, with colleagues noting his tireless efforts and the positive impact he made during his tenure.
