Kenya Power has issued a public notice under Rule 27 of the Electric Power Rules, informing customers of a planned electricity supply interruption in parts of eight counties on Thursday, October 9.

The scheduled outage is necessary to facilitate routine maintenance, connect new customers, upgrade power lines, and replace infrastructure affected by road construction and other developments.
Power supply will be disrupted for up to nine hours in most of the affected regions.
