Comedian Baba Kaunty has opened up about the reason that led to him and YouTuber Oga Obinna no longer working together.
This comes after Obinna came out to set the record straight about people on his show who no longer work for him, including Dem wa Facebook and Pamela Aely.
Baba Kaunty was rumoured to also have been fired, because he left shortly after replacing Dem wa Facebook on the show.
He took to his page to reveal what exactly happened and shut down some of the rumours about him and Obinna having beef.
“People always think that I was fired. No. I was the one who quit. Let’s not say Obinna was the one who fired me. He was actually shocked to see that I left. Sometimes we leave to give room for someone else to benefit. Let’s not be selfish such that everything is always about you,” he said.
According to him, had he or Dem Wa Facebook not left, other content creators like Pamela Aely or Dapper Man would not have gotten the chance to even shine brighter.
“Let’s give each other time and opportunities. Stay for a while and leave. Leave your legacy intact. I thank God that his studio keeps going, and for the fans to stop insulting Obinna, he did a lot for us. To date, he is still my boss even though I do not work for him,” he added.
Baba Kaunty also shared that the industry is too small to be rude and angry at people, as you never know when you will bump into each other or work together again.
