Rachel Ruto’s fashion at AIC Ziwani’s event elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans
The First Lady’s attire saw many criticise her, wondering if she has a professional stylist

Photos of First Lady Rachel Ruto dressed in a uniform have emerged, eliciting mixed reactions.

On Sunday, October 12, the First Lady accompanied her husband, President William Ruto, and other leaders to a church event.
The first family attended the Inland Church (AIC) Ziwani’s 70th anniversary ceremony held at Starehe Boys School grounds, in Nairobi county.
Rachel wore the AIC cadet uniform just like the female cadets who, at some point, performed during the function.
Dressed in a sky blue skirt, a matching hat and stash, a white shirt, socks, net gloves and rubber shoes.

The photos and the video went viral, with many criticising the First Lady’s choice of fashion for the event, while some defended her.
A section of Kenyans came to Rachel’s defence for wearing the uniform, saying there was nothing wrong with her fashion.

Rachel Ruto stuns in Butere Girls High School uniform
In another story, the First Lady left Kenyans awed after she shared photos wearing a Butere Girls uniform.
Rachel looked gorgeous in the maroon uniform, and many revealed that she could easily be mistaken for a young girl.
