The veteran comedian and filmmaker mourned Raila as a courageous man who had shaped the nation’s history.
“Kenya has lost one of its most enduring sons. Former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s life was a story of courage, conviction, and an unbreakable belief that this country could always be better. He was jailed, misunderstood, and often opposed yet he never gave up on the dream of a just and united Kenya. You didn’t have to agree with him to feel his impact. He shaped generations, inspired courage, and kept the spirit of democracy alive,” he said.
According to him, Raila reminded us that leadership was not about power, but purpose and that sometimes people never win the race but the struggle.
“Rest in peace, Baba. Your journey shaped our nation. Your name will forever live in Kenya’s story,” he added.
