In his speech, Oburu admitted that because his first wife was getting old, he decided to get another woman who could help him around.
“My first wife was getting old, so I brought her a helper. This is Mrs Judith Oburu. She works with NSSF, and she is also an accountant by profession,” he said.
Oburu also revealed that his first wife, who also joined him on the podium, is a doctor, as he praised her for “taking him out of boyhood”.

Did Oburu break ground for Raila’s gravesite?
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke featured Oburu after a video emerged of him leading the elders in breaking ground at Kang’o ka Jaramogi.
He had travelled to Bondo to ‘tero ywak’, which, according to the Luo culture, is to take “the cry home” and officially communicate the death.
In the video, he was seen hitting the soil a couple of times before his other siblings joined him while the church members sang Luo worship songs.
