Raila Odinga died in India on October 15, where he had been seeking treatment. He collapsed on his morning walk.

What did Ruto and Winnie Odinga talk about?

On the same day, Ruto assigned a delegation that left the country immediately to travel to India to return his body back home.

However, in his tribute

“Later in the evening after planning how people were going to bring his body back, Winnie called me. And she told me, “Why can’t that plane that is coming to take Bab’s body not come here where he is. You are now making me struggle to transport his body on the plane and I am tired. Yet this thing is also heavy for me’,” he said.
