According to her, it didn’t make sense that he was asking for space over this, noting that she didn’t think Raila’s daughter, Winnie, was behaving the same way her boyfriend was.

“I am mourning, my love, and I need this time for myself. Don’t be dramatic, I will find time to call you,” he said.

After she lashed out, the man promised to find time to call her, but this only seemed to anger her more.

The man sent a sticker showing his shock at the woman’s text, but she responded by blocking his contact.

Will Raila be mourned for 40 days?

Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that David Osiany, a close ally of the late ODM leader, confirmed that mourning would continue beyond the formal ceremonies.

According to Osiany, the traditional mourning period would last 40 days to mark a significant phase of reflection and remembrance of the great leader.

He also stated that Raila’s 72-hour burial wish was a calculated decision, considering his national influence.
