A mother from Maai Mahiu, Nakuru county, has been thrown into mourning following a tragic incident.

The woman was in tears after a tragedy left her both a widow and childless, with many unanswered questions.
She was inconsolable after losing her family, the only one she knew, and being left alone without a support system.
The lady lost both her husband and two young daughters as she struggled to come to terms with the immense loss.
“This woman you see sitting down works as a laundry woman (mama fua) in Mai Mahiu town. She separated from her husband about three months ago. On Monday, the man came from where he lives and went to this woman’s place, a rented house near Sacred School E.C.D in Mai Mahiu town, and took their two daughters,” narrated Broo Favour Mkenya MC.

Man takes kids to Narok town
The man went with the two young girls to a place called Duka Moja in Narok town and entered a house.
That was the last time the three were seen alive, as they were later found dead under heartbreaking circumstances.
“When the woman called and realized the man wasn’t answering, she decided to go to where he lives. When she arrived, she found the door unlocked. She went in and found the man’s body lying on top, he was dead. Her children were also covered with a blanket on the bed, and they were dead too,” he added.
The children had allegedly been given contaminated porridge by their father was also found dead.

It was a tragic scene of a father and his two daughters, the latter were set to mark an academic milestone.
“The mother has been left without even a single child. It’s so sad, the children were supposed to graduate today.
In this situation, the woman needs someone to talk to; she’s in trauma. If you’re around there, please let me know,” he pleaded.
He shared photos and videos of the mother, who refused to be consoled after the loss, wondering what to do next.

DCI looking for suspect who killed wife, kids
In another story, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched a search for a suspect who killed his wife and two children in Samburu county.
Twenty-eight-year-old Wycliffe Otieno was being hunted after allegedly killing his three family members in cold blood.
The suspect is said to have stabbed his wife to death before attacking and killing his two young children.
