How Chepkam’s accident occurred
Daktari Kelvin Kipchirchir Ufa told TUKO.co.ke that the car veered off the road and rolled several times, leaving the occupants with minor injuries.
Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. Speaking at the scene, the eyewitness, identified as Festus Bett, said:
“Hii gari ilikuwa inakimbia, haikugongana na gari yeyote kabisa, ilienda kando pekee.”
The eyewitnesses narrated how Chepkam’s cries for help caught the attention of nearby boda boda riders and locals, who rushed to the scene to assist her.
Traffic police have yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the accident, but sources indicate that speed may have been a factor.
What state is Chepkam after accident?
Chepkam is said to be recovering well, and fans across the Rift Valley have wished her a speedy recovery.
The incident comes weeks after the entertainer went viral for releasing a video in which she mocked broke men, saying she would never date them.
“I don’t want anything to do with poor men. They smell badly. When broke men speak, all I hear is gibberish. Poor men are loud and chaotic.” she said.
Her sentiments caused an uproar on social media, with many scolding her for being insensitive and reckless.
