Rahab Njoki Njuguna had been missing for several weeks after she was last spotted with her friends.
The teenager disappeared on Sunday, September 7, leaving her mother behind in church at the business building.
She failed to return home afterward, and her mum, Njeri Ndung’u, grew worried about her whereabouts and well-being.

In her effort to locate her daughter, Njeri went to Karen Police Station and filed a missing person report.
When was Rahab found?
For weeks, there was no progress on the case as the family did not receive any updates on their loved one.
The family never gave up and continued to look for her, keeping their hopes alive that they would soon find her.
It took the power of the media for Rahab to be found, as her family breathed a sigh of relief.
The teenager was found on Saturday, October 25, in poor health and was rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital for medical examination.

The police are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of the Kirigu Primary School pupil.
Her mother was seen walking out of a residence holding a brown envelope following the heartwarming news.
CCTV footage from Waterfront captured the last movements of Rahab, giving crucial clues about her disappearance.
She was seen in the company of another female friend and a young man who wore a white baggy top and denim jeans.

They passed through the security check without any difficulties as they proceeded to their destination.
In the next part, they were seen being joined by a group of other young men who had arrived after them at the mall.
Another clip captured a moment where the young man in the white top appeared agitated while addressing his friends.
The last footage showed Rahab and the young man having a brief chat in an open area in the mall.
They gazed in a certain direction for a while before walking away, with Rahab following behind.
