The bulk of the positions, 279 posts, fall under the Department of Medical Services, Public Health and Sanitation.
The county is seeking doctors, nurses, clinical officers, pharmacists, laboratory technologists, and other healthcare specialists to strengthen service delivery across Kisii’s public health facilities.

In the Department of Education, Technical Training, Innovation, and Social Sciences, the county has advertised 200 teaching positions for early childhood education.
These include 50 assistant ECDE teachers II and 150 assistant ECDE teachers III, each on a three-year contract.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, a detailed CV, copies of their national ID, and certified academic and professional certificates.
“Applications should be addressed to: The Board Secretary, Kisii County Public Service Board, P.O. Box 1848-40200, Kisii, or hand-delivered to the CPSB offices along the Kisii–Kilgoris road, near the Kisii Cathedral Road junction,” the board explained.
The board emphasised that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
