How old is Stanley?
Stanley Mucheru Kamoni had been missing for eight months, leaving his family in deep worry and pain over his whereabouts.

“The young boy who went missing eight months ago, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, returned home yesterday, Wednesday, October 29.
Stanley unexpectedly surprised his father, Kamoni, at his workplace in Thika Town, riding a small mountain bike that he had bought during his time away,” a post read.
The 12-year-old boy was received with warmth as his family rejoiced that he was alive and well after many months.
Stanley’s parents seek help from radio
“While addressing the media, Stanley said he had been living in Nairobi, where he settled after leaving home, and that he missed his siblings until yesterday when he decided to return,” the post added.
Photos captured the heartwarming moment the missing boy was surrounded by family after returning home.
People sang songs of celebration to welcome Stanley back, expressing their joy and thanksgiving to God.
The Grade Six pupil’s parents had even gone to radio stations to appeal to Kenyans for help in reuniting with their son.
Stanley’s father speaks after he returns home
Stanley’s mother was sorrowful as she made the plea, expressing her pain and concern as a mother.
Their efforts bore fruit when the young boy resurfaced, wiping away the tears of pain from their eyes.
His father took to social media to share an update, appreciating God for protecting his son.
“No matter what you face, remember God’s promises never fail. His grace is enough, His power is greater, and His love will carry you through,” he wrote.

Kericho girl reunited with family
In another story, a young girl who had been missing for a couple of months also reunited with her family.
Naomi Cherotich was found in Taita Taveta county, which raised more questions than answers.
Some of her school uniforms were found in Nakuru county during investigations as the family sought to understand her disappearance.
Her grandmother in Kericho county, who had been staying with her since the death of her mother, expressed her joy at her safe return.
