During her husband’s burial, Rosie was pictured with former president Uhuru Kenyatta. She was welcoming him to the ceremony.

During Kajwang’s burial as the then ODM party leader, the late Raila Odinga was there to welcome Uhuru.
Donning a black suit, red tie, and a white shirt, Raila was seen embracing his long-time friend Uhuru.

She was a revered lecturer, and the news of her demise after a short illness has left her colleagues in sorrow.

4. ODM mourns Rosie
After learning of her death, the ODM party shared its condolences with her family.
The party wrote;
“We mourn the passing of Mama Rose Kajwang’, widow of the late Sen. Gerald Otieno Kajwang’ earlier today after an illness. As Orange family, we commiserate with the entire Kajwang’ family and the people of Suba North for the loss. May Rose’s soul rest in peace.”

Kajwang’ was the life of the party, and Rosie couldn’t help but fall in love with him for his charm.

Rosie narrated how they met inside a matatu when she was still living with her sister. Kajwang’ asked her to sit next to him.
She later revealed that she was attending a crusade, and he pretended he was planning to attend.
Rosie later learned that her husband never attended any of the crusades, and she found him funny.
During his burial, she also affirmed the love she had for him, and she hoped that they would be reunited in heaven someday.

In other news, First Daughter Charlene Ruto visited Raila’s grave in Bondo, Siaya county.
Charlene touched hearts when she was seen embracing Raila’s widow, Ida Odinga, and her son, Raila Junior.
When Charlene learnt of the politician’s death, she took to social media to honour the former prime minister.
Kenyans on social media lauded Charlene for visiting the grieving family and also placing flowers on the politician’s grave.
Mourners have been flocking to Bondo to pay their respects at Raila’s grave.
