They condoled with Ida and the entire family following the demise of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga.
The former prime minister passed away on Wednesday, September 15, at the Devamatha Hospital, where he was receiving treatment after collapsing.
Raila’s body was repatriated to the country and buried at the family mausoleum at the Kango’ Ka Jaramogi on Sunday, October 19, according to his final wishes to be buried within 72 hours.
Ndegwa and Chege also took the opportunity to visit the gravesite of the political veteran as they paid their final respects.

Kenyans from all walks of life have been visiting the grave of the former prime minister Raila to pay their final respects.
Mama Ngina visits Mama Ida
Ndegwa’s visit came after Kenya’s first lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, visited Mama Ida. She made a rare public appearance in support of Raila’s family.
Mama Ngina, the widow of the first president of the Republic of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta, was captured in pictures consoling the later Raila’s wife.
In photos shared by social media strategist, Pauline Njoroge, the former first lady was seen wearing an African attire. She accessorised her attire with a matching wristband, necklace and ring.

She warmly smiled at Ida, probably in a bid to reassure her that they would walk together during the difficult phase of life.
Mama Ngina was in the company of Muhoho Kenyatta, George Muhoho, and other family members. They presented Ida with a bouquet.
Raila’s lastborn daughter, Winnie, was also present.
This act of kindness was admired by many Kenyans who couldn’t help but focus their attention on the timeless appearance of Mama Ngina.
They also praised the strong bond between the Kenyatta and Odinga family.
Did Uhuru visit Raila’s grave?
Uhuru, Mama Ngina’s son, was not left behind in paying an emotional tribute to the late Raila. He was present during Raila’s state funeral at the Nyayo Stadium.
He also travelled all the way to Kango’Ka Jaromogi, where Raila’s burial took place. Instead of leaving, he remained behind and visited Raila’s grave once more and paid his last respects.
Before that, he was among the country’s high dignitaries who visited Mama Ida at their Karen home when the news about Raila’s death broke out
