Chanelle comes from the well-known Kittony family, recognised for its influence in Kenya’s business and political sectors.

She is the daughter of Kiprono Kittony, a successful entrepreneur and business leader who currently serves as the chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange board.

Chanelle’s grandmother, Zipporah Kittony, had a distinguished political career, having been a nominated MP from 1988 to 2007, and later serving as a nominated Senator from 2013 to 2018 under the KANU party.
