Tallia recently debuted a much leaner frame with new photos on her social media. After revealing her updated look, fans began speculating about the method behind her noticeable change.
Speaking then, Tallia shared that her decision to focus on her health came after a knee injury, which led doctors to advise her to lose weight.

She emphasised that medical necessity, rather than aesthetic concerns, drove the change, as losing weight was crucial for avoiding surgery and managing her condition effectively.

To support her health goals, Tallia mentioned that she had started receiving semaglutide shots. In a recent interview, Tallia said that she also opted for Ozempic weight loss due to health issues.
“I struggled with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS),” she confessed.
PCOS is a hormonal condition that affects women during their reproductive years. It can lead to irregular menstrual cycles, elevated levels of male hormones, the development of cysts on the ovaries, and symptoms such as acne, excess hair growth, and weight gain.
However, according to Tallia, Ozempic changed her journey.
“I have enjoyed my periods for the last three months,” she said.
Msalame said that she had also undergone the same treatment and shared that she valued the community aspect of it.
“It is not just about the medical procedure, but you have psychological help and emotional support. When you go through the classes with other women, you realise I am not alone.”
Does Ozempic have side effects?
A curious fan asked Tallia and Grace about the side effects of the shots. Tallia opened up about hers, noting that not everybody experiences them.
“I had mild headaches and blurry vision after the first shot, which went away after about 20 minutes, and none after, but people are different.”
However, Tallia cautioned Kenyans against going for any facility they see advertised on social media with discounts.
