Residents of Ruaka were left in shock on Monday evening, November 3, after a man was discovered dead inside a car that had been parked all day at the Total Rosslyn petrol station.

According to a report shared on Facebook by the National Community Policing Association (NCP), members of the association grew concerned around 9:20 pm, after noticing the weird vehicle.
Ruaka man found dead inside car
Witnesses claim the man had been at a local drinking spot before parking his car and slumping into the seat inside.
Details indicate that passersby raised eyebrows when the black Honda vehicle, registration number KC*_8W**, remained stationary for hours.
Upon gaining access to the car, authorities found an unresponsive man seated in the driver’s seat, but the circumstances leading to his demise remain unclear.
The matter was quickly reported to officers from the DCI and Crime Unit at Gigiri Police Station, who arrived at the scene and gained access to the vehicle.
How Ruaka man was identified
Friends within the crowd that had gathered at the petrol station helped identify the vehicle and contact the deceased’s family.
They arrived shortly after the recovery operation was completed and took the body away as officers secured and cleared the scene.
In a statement, the National Community Policing Association commended both its members and the police for their swift and coordinated response.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of death had not yet been disclosed, pending further investigations.

Missing 6-year-old boy found dead in car
In an unrelated incident, a six-year-old boy identified as Felix Kabubi, who had been missing for days, was found dead inside an abandoned car.
Kabubi disappeared on October 14, leaving his family worried until strangers discovered his body in the vehicle near a car wash.
His case sparked mixed reactions, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the little boy’s death.
