David Adarasu took to social media to grieve Baba Juvie, also known as Fanya Fujo Uone, in an emotional post.
Adarasu, Baba Juvie’s last conversation
News of his death left not only Adarasu devastated but also many others who knew him, as they joined in sharing messages of grief.
“I have received calls from unknown people giving me the sad news of my friend’s death… All I can remember was on Saturday, after watching the Manchester United match, we met at Total, and you explained to me what you were going through,” Adarasu narrated.
Adarasu recalled the conversation he had with his friend prior to his passing.
Baba Juvie opens up about his health
His friend thanked God for meeting him, sharing that he had been very sick and that it was the first time he had stepped out of his neighbourhood.
“Man, I had to step away for a bit. I was coughing and even coughed up blood, so I decided to rush to the hospital. They tested almost everything and found out I had pneumonia,” Baba Juvie said.
He took out his phone and showed Adarasu the chest ultrasound and other test results from the hospital.
Adarasu parts ways with Baba Juvie
Adarasu encouraged him to take his medicine and stay strong, assuring him that he would recover.
“After that, I left, and we parted ways there at Wafujo. It’s hard to accept that you’re gone forever, bro. All your memories will always stay with me. Rest with the angels, Baba Juvie,” he added.
Adarasu shared several photos of himself with the deceased, reminiscing about their fond memories together.
He also posted a Facebook Messenger screenshot showing their messages, where they expressed brotherly love for one another.
