According to eyewitnesses, a group of angry youth stormed the road where the trailer was and started burning the vehicle.
Earlier, the group of young men had allegedly been promised money by politicians, but they did not fulfill the promise, and the young men went on a rampage.
“Sometimes, the cash is shared out at night, and many people get angry when they learn about it in the end,” said an onlooker.
“I would like to urge our politicians to be very open about how they are giving out the cash to needy people,” said another person.
The driver of the trailer, on the other hand, had a horrible story to share and said that people rushed to him and demanded money to rescue him. Christopher Onyango said, “I tried to reverse, but they took my phone, jacket, and shoes

How did Christopher save his life?
“I told them that I did not have any money on me and gave them my phone. When they concentrated on other things, I took the opportunity to slip away from them,” said Onyango.
Many people who watched the video now believe that divine power came down and saved the Bibles from the danger they were in.
“I thought that if they had managed to open the container, it would have been another case altogether because this is transit, and they would have been stolen locally,” he said.
Another car was also sadly burnt because the group insisted that the county vehicle had hit someone, but it turned out not to be true.

Boda Operators Torch Audi
Meanwhile, a car owner mourns his losses after being caught up in the midst of a boda boda mob that burnt their vehicle.
It emerged that the Audi car owner hit and killed a rider along Thika Road, prompting a violent reaction from the riders. It was set on fire as the owner looked on helplessly.
All efforts to put the fire out did not help much, as the damage was already done whey they arrived at the scene.
