Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot has rubbed a section of netizens the wrong way after entering someone’s house with his muddy shoes.

Cheruiyot spent some moments with him and the majority leader in the Senate shared photos on social media.

Captioning the moments, Cheruiyot wrote:

“On a positive note, it is delightful to see our county manager, Hillary Bii, make tremendous progress on his road to recovery following a bad road accident upon a visit to his home in Kaplutiet, Belgut.”

Cheruiyot’s post sparked mixed reactions, with a section wishing Bii a quick recovery and praising the senator for his kind gesture and a greater section picking issues with his muddy shoes.

As seen in the photos, Cheruiyot’s sneakers were muddy and some netizens questioned why he didn’t remove them before entering the shoes.

Previously, the politician reacted to reports claiming that he receives billions from betting firms in the country.

Cheruiyot denied claims by a popular blogger, Cyprian Nyakundi, that suggested he is among Kenyan politicians benefiting from the betting industry.
