Bayo succumbed to cancer on November 10 at KNH. Her death was announced by her family members, including her ex-husband, Pastor Victor Kanyari.

The gospel singer, famed for her 11th Hour song, had two children with her ex-husband, Pastor Kanyari.
The two were blessed with two adorable kids, a daughter; Sky and a son, Danny. Photos of gospel artiste Shiro wa GP comforting Sky at KNH, still in her school uniform, broke hearts.

Where is Pastor Kanyari?
After the news of Bayo’s death went viral, Kanyari was spotted in tears in the KNH vicinity.
In some of the photos shared online, the father of two, who shares a close bond with his offspring, was seen comforting them.
The photos moved Kenyans to tears.
Was Betty Bayo married?
The gospel singer remarried in December 2021, years after divorcing Pastor Kanyari.
Bayo and Hiram Gitau, alias Tash, got married in a colourful traditional wedding attended by close family members and friends.
Both have two children each from their previous marriages and were in a happy blended family.
After their lovely wedding, the two lovebirds served couple goals for days, and at some point, Kanyari met Tash and revealed they were on good terms.
