Maigama had lived in the US for years, supporting his family and community.

Recently, Mose completed the construction of his home in Kisii, a project that brought pride to his family and friends.
Photos doing the rounds online showed the sprawling, two-story gray mansion with white accents. The home is surrounded by a perimeter wall.
TikToker Geoffrey admitted that he was heartbroken by Maigama’s death while recounting their moments together.
“I told him to take his family abroad, but he told me that he could not take his wife abroad, lest she leave him. Now he is dead.”
Geoffrey then expressed concern over the number of deaths witnessed on the video platform.
“Many people have died on TikTok, so I am fearful. Did it come so people can die? I hate it when my friends die; it hurts me. Sorry for the family.”
He further empathised with Maigama’s family, saying:
“He has left very young kids, and his wife will struggle raising them.”

Weeks earlier, he had laid his father to rest in South Sudan, sharing moments from the funeral, including the journey from Juba Military Hospital to their family home.
Just as condolences poured in, Yagga revealed that his sister had also passed away under unclear circumstances.
