In a video shared on TikTok, the man who left for greener pastures seven years ago noted that he made it a routine to send part of his monthly earnings home, with the dream of one day building a family house.
His parents, now elderly, received the money every month, and instead of misusing it, they quietly and diligently began working on his dream.
They first purchased a piece of land in a serene area on the outskirts of Busia town. With careful planning and commitment, they then oversaw the construction of a spacious bungalow.
“The house is complete with modern finishes, neat landscaping. They even hired a gardener to maintain the compound,” the excited man said.
