Ezekiel revealed that he was not well-off when he visited his in-laws for his wife’s hand in marriage.

He further added that he could not afford his wife’s wedding dress, and he even borrowed money to travel to her home.
The televangelist said that he only had love for his wife and a ring worth KSh 15. He gave his in-laws two goats.
Ezekiel said that he was met by his father-in-law and his wife’s uncle, who did not appreciate what he had to offer.
He revealed that his wife had run away after her father and uncle opposed her marriage to Ezekiel, but later came back when they gave their blessing for the marriage.
The preacher disclosed that his father-in-law had offered him his other daughter as his second wife, but he declined.
Nearly a decade later, Ezekiel had made a return, and this time, he was well prepared. He took cows, sheep and goats with him to his wife’s home in Makueni.
