Why will Betty Bayo be buried in Kiambu?
Earlier, rumours circulated that Bayo would be buried in Maragua, Murang’a county, where she had bought a parcel of land with her husband.
However, the family shared that she would be buried in Mugumo Estate, eliciting mixed reactions. A popular gospel singer, who wished to remain anonymous, told TUKO.co.ke that Bayo invested heavily in the Mugumo land, a project she loved, and that’s why she will be interred there.
“The place is close to where she lived. She visited the place frequently because it was so dear to her. Bayo was very smart and invested heavily in her future and that of her children. She had lots of properties, including the Maragua land,” she said.
Many questioned why Bayo was not going to be buried at Tash’s home; neither Tash nor his family has responded to the burning questions from Kenyans.
