Late musician Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor, emotionally eulogised her mother with a touching tribute.

Sky spoke about her relationship with her, noting that they had a beautiful bond and occasional misunderstandings.
“I just wrote this tribute right now. I wrote it based on what I was feeling. As you know, today is my mother’s memorial. I do not want to turn it into a sad day because today is a day to remember all our beautiful memories of her. Today I want to talk about the most cherished moments I have with her. Just like any mother and daughter relationship, fights and misunderstandings are normal.

Sometimes she used to make me so angry to a point I would question her love for me, but fights come and go, and when they do go, my mum turns into the happiest and funniest person. For those who don’t know, my mum is the most awesome storyteller one of her best features,” he said.
Sky hailed her mum for being supportive, recalling the words of support Bayo used to give her.
How did Sky learn about her mother’s death?
She also revealed that her mum was behind the content she shared on social media.
“I used to tell her my stories, my dreams and what I wanted to become. She used to support all of them, even if some did not make sense. She used to tell me never listen to what haters would say. All the funny content you would see me doing online was all her amazing plan. It’s sad to think that I would not experience that anymore,” Sky said.
The young girl recalled the day she learned about her mother’s death, and she thought it was a prank.

Seeing her mother’s body at the mortuary broke her. Sky broke down while narrating the moment.
“The day the news was broken for me I did not even cry. I thought everyone was pranking me. i was like jokes over when will I see my mum. It soon hit me when I saw the sad worried faces of everyone looking at me. I was weak, pale, and I did not want to eat. I was brought to a room to see her for the last time. I felt like my world was crushing down. Seeing your mother’s lifeless body, still sweating because she was fighting for her life. Before she died, I remember praying so many times, I fasted… she was my mum.”

Sky gave her mum support, assuring her that she would fight the cancer.
