A memorial service was held to celebrate her life on Sunday, November 16, at CFF Church in Kiambu, just days after the beloved singer passed away on Monday, November 10.

Among the most heartbreaking moments were the photos captured of her children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, whom she shared with her ex-husband, Pastor Victor Kanyari.
One of the most emotional photos showed Dani, dressed in black, looking overwhelmed with pain yet trying to remain strong.
Despite being the younger of the two, he held back his tears and remained composed throughout the ceremony.
At one point, he sought comfort from one of Betty’s close friends and his stepfather, Tash, who embraced him gently as the service continued.
Dani later summoned the strength to walk to the altar to honour his mother.
In a glowing tribute, he recalled their cherished moments and vowed to take care of his sister, saying:
“Even though you’re not here with us, I carry your love wherever I go. I will try my best to live in a way that makes you proud.”
How is Sky coping with her mum’s passing?
Sky, the older sibling, appeared more overwhelmed by grief. Several photos captured her seated next to Dani, dressed in black and wearing shades to hide her watery eyes.
However, at one point, she removed them, revealing the depth of her heartbreak.
Her tribute was also emotional and heavy, as she struggled to read her message. Sky recalled their shared memories, their final moments together, and the painful final image of her mother shortly after she passed.
She described seeing Betty sweating but lifeless after a long and brave fight for her life, a memory that left her unable to contain her tears. Her cousins had to support her on the altar as she tried to push through the grief.
Other emotional photos showed the kids together with Pastor Kanyari and Tash kneeling for prayer.

During the ceremony, Pastor Kanyari also fought back tears as he paid tribute to Betty.
The Salvation Healing Ministries pastor mourned her as a strong, kind and devoted mother who always did her best for their children.
He emotionally vowed to take care of their kids and keep her memory alive.
