What did Anthony Olwal’s client want?
In the chats, the client asked for an iPhone 17, which he bargained for, reducing the price from KSh 225,000 to KSh 200,000.
“He came around 9 am, picked up the delivery, and left by 10:30 am. However, by 12 noon, we could not reach him; his phone lines were unavailable. We tried the client’s number, but it was also switched off,” Ochieng explained.

Hours later, the father of three was found lifeless, his hands tied and bleeding under a bed in one of the apartments in South B.
Ochieng said his brother had been tortured, according to the post-mortem reports, and had been struck with a blunt object.
“His hands and legs were tied, his mouth was covered, and he had blood all over his body. I don’t know the motive behind his killing, whether they wanted his phone or if they simply wanted to kill him,” he added.

Why was Anthony Olwal killed?
Olwal’s friend, Fredrick Muga, stated that the deceased had demanded payment for the phone he delivered, leading to a confrontation.
He assured that Olwal never entered clients’ homes and wondered how he had been lured into the building.
Muga revealed that CCTV footage captured the suspects struggling with the house manager before leaving with Olwal’s phone.
“This delivery job is very risky. Olwal was simply demanding payment for the phone, only for his life to be cut short. I have also escaped planned attacks while on duty, and mostly, the attackers target those delivering phones,” he added.
What did Antony Olwal’s wife say?
In a related but separate news, TUKO.co.ke reported that the deceased man’s wife, Eunice Atieno, emotionally recalled their last call.
She noted that Olwal asked her to wait a few minutes so he could finish up with the client and promised to call back.
She said their last conversation was at 10 am, and she is still struggling to understand what really happened, leading to his death.
