What are the details of the iPhone Anthony Olwal was delivering?
Investigations revealed that the order was placed via WhatsApp by a man who claimed to be in Eldoret.
The man allegedly told the seller that the phone was to be delivered to his brother, Hilary, at a guesthouse in the Sana Sana area.
WhatsApp chats leaked showed that the buyer initially inquired about the availability of the iPhone 17 Pro Max
“IPhone 17, is it available? Colour orange 256 GB?…How much?… Make it KSh 200,000, please,” he bargained after he was informed that it would cost KSh 225,000.
After negotiations, the seller agreed to lower the price to KSh 220,000, which the buyer accepted.
He then directed the seller to deliver the phone to Hilary, providing his phone number.

What killed Anthony Olwal?
A postmortem result revealed that he was struck by a heavy object.
“My brother was tortured. He had blood oozing all over his body. I can’t tell the motive of those people, whether it was to commit murder or to steal the phone,” he said.
Detectives recovered a knife, a metal rod, and the iPhone Olwal was tasked to deliver.
His motorbike was also found parked outside the apartment.
Investigations further revealed that the room was booked by two men shortly before the delivery, and they paid KSh 2,500 in cash.
Authorities are pursuing leads to track down the suspects, as Olwal’s family continues to demand justice for their slain relative.
Man shocks police after delivering dead body as parcel
In other news, a taxi driver delivered a packaged body of a murdered woman at Kangari Police Station in Murang’a, leaving the officers shocked.
The driver claimed he was on his business route when a man stopped him and asked him to deliver the package to Kangari stage for someone heading to Nairobi. After paying in cash, the man vanished without a trace.
Growing suspicious of the parcel’s unusual weight, the driver decided to alert the police. When officers unwrapped it, they found the body of a woman carefully concealed and disguised as a package.
