His homecoming has stirred a wave of grief across Suba North, where family, friends, and congregants have been holding meetings at his Urianda home in anticipation of his burial.
When did Canon Limo die?
Canon Limo, who served as the vice president of the Horace Turker Foundation, was remembered for his faith, humility, and lifelong dedication to service.
At the time of his demise, he was in charge at St Timothy’s Church under the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.
The priest died on Sunday, October 19, just hours after the burial of former ODM leader Raila Odinga.
According to an obituary from the family, Canon Limo’s memorial service will be held at St Stephen’s Cathedral in Kisumu on Wednesday, November 19, at 11 am.

The lawmaker revealed that her brother-in-law took his final breath while watching Raila Odinga’s burial proceedings from his home in Apple Valley, California.
A devoted supporter of the former prime minister, he had earlier called Ramogi Radio and Ramogi TV that morning to send his condolences to the Luo nation.
The man of God added that he could not fathom Raila being buried in his absence.
