Bayo breathed her last while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). She was known for her soulful music.

A committee chaired by Kikuyu musician Ben Githae announced that her burial ceremony would take place on Thursday, November 20.

They had released a KSh 5 million budget for the musician’s family to give her a befitting send-off.

There will be a burial ceremony at Ndumberi Stadium, and content creator Karangu Muraya shared photos of the tents that were set up.

In other news, Bayo’s best friend Shiru Wa GP revealed Sky’s last words to her mother.

Sky kneeled inside the ambulance and prayed to God to heal her mother, and was hopeful she would fight the cancer.

Shiru also remembered how her friend had complained of fatigue for the past three years.
