A terrifying video has emerged online showing the moment a 26-year-old Kenyan man, working as a taxi driver in Dubai, was attacked by a client.

Brian’s family has come forward seeking justice after he was hospitalised, claiming that the company he works for allegedly refused to assist with the case or cover his medical bills.
The chilling incident, captured by the cab’s dashcam, shows the moment Brian was violently attacked by a male passenger who almost killed him.
The man, who had seemingly requested the taxi, briefly spoke with Brian before opting to sit in the back left seat. Brian handed him something, started the trip, and hoped for a peaceful ride.

What happened between Brian and customer in Dubai?
However, a few minutes into the journey, the passenger moved to the right, sitting just behind the driver’s seat. He then began inappropriately touching Brian’s chest and shoulders.
Stunned, Brian managed to maintain his composure for a moment and held one of the passenger’s hands while driving with the other.
“Don’t hold me, I’m driving. Please, why are you holding me?” he could be heard asking, his discomfort evident. He told the passenger that he wasn’t interested and asked him to stop.
Feeling aggrieved by the rejection, the passenger then grabbed Brian by the neck and began choking him while he was still driving.
Screaming, Brian let go of the steering wheel and struggled desperately to free himself from the man’s tight grip on his neck.
“You want to die? Can you shut up!” the attacker shouted, as a terrified Brian pleaded for his life.
Brian continued to scream, frantically honking the car horn with his feet, before eventually managing to escape the car and call for help.
“He wants to kill me! Call the police, this man wants to kill me!” he shouted.

Unmoved, the passenger remained seated for a few seconds before moving to the driver’s seat and driving off in the stolen taxi.
The scared Kenyan man, who had reportedly arrived in Dubai about two months ago, reported the incident to the police.
He was also taken to the hospital, but his family claims that no action has been taken to hold the culprit accountable.
Why was Dubai-based Kenyan man fined by UAE govt?
In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a Kenyan man identified as Omari Abdallah expressed frustration after receiving a message informing him that he owed the UAE government money.
Omari was fined KSh 32,000 for various traffic offences, including KSh 14,300 for changing lanes without indicating, speeding, and exceeding the time limit on paid parking.
He noted that he had planned to sell his car but was unable to do so because the fines it had accumulated were more than the selling price.
