“Yesterday at 5 pm, I received a call from someone who told me that my son was dead. I sought him the following morning to understand how he died. He said he did not know that he had also been given the same information,” he said, while demanding answers.

He said his clan is already preparing for the burial, even as they seek answers on the young man’s death.

“He was my firstborn and I educated him till 2023 when he dropped out, and since then, I have not known where he has been living until now that I have received the news of his death,” he painfully said.

Sadly, the man also revealed that his mum died a month ago.

How did Thomas Aliga’s son die?

Goffin was among three individuals murdered on the night of Friday, November 21, in Abuku Sub-county in Uganda after an alleged cattle-theft incident.

He and two others were travelling in a Toyota Hiace that was ambushed and set ablaze by unknown assailants, leading to their deaths.

NTV Uganda reports that the police have since recovered the charred vehicle as investigations move forward to uncover who was behind the brutal attack and why the victims were targeted.
