Social media personality Xtian Dela has leaked a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with media personality Jeff Koinange.

Koinange has been absent from his prime-time news program and his popular interview show, Jeff Koinange Live (JKL), since August 2025.

Where’s Jeff Koinange?

Neither Citizen TV nor the veteran journalist has given any official announcement about his break.

This has fuelled many speculations on social media, with some even spreading fake rumours about his health.

Disturbed by the rumours, Dela texted Koinange on WhatsApp to find out if the latest rumours were true.

“Bro bro bro! You’re good? You’re safe? Bro, TikTok has me worried. Spreading about your death… Just confirm you’re still here. Bro? Bro?….” Dela texted Koinange in the evening on Sunday, November 23.

Jeff Koinange responds to death rumours

The media personality responded today, Monday, November 24, at 6:31am.

“Bro bro. I’m alive and kicking,” he responded, shutting down the unfortunate rumours.

Dela shared the screenshot on his X account to debunk the rumours and inform everyone that the beloved TV presenter was well.

“Jeff Koinange is still alive!! you got me crying the whole night making calls everywhere like a mad woman!!!… shame on (sic) clout chasers btw!!!… Not funny to some of us!!! Long life bro,” he wrote.

In the clip, the TV presenter was seen walking with Maina in high spirits, and the TV presenter engaged the radio presenter in a conversation.
