A 22-year-old influencer and musician was fatally shot in an ambush attack early Saturday morning.

Authorities reported that the incident occurred when multiple shots were fired at a group of people in a car parked on the street.
How did Maia de la Rosa die?
The victim, Maria de la Rosa, was hit by gunfire and later died from her injuries after being transported to the hospital.
According to Yahoo.com, witnesses said two men approached the vehicle at around 1:25 am on Saturday, November 22.
De la Rosa, known by her stage name DELAROSA, had just released her debut single “No me llames” (“Don’t Call Me”) in August.

Her Instagram account, which boasts over 40,000 followers, recently featured a post of her with an electric guitar in a recording studio, hinting at new music to come with the caption:
“Ocupada cocinando en el Stu,” meaning “Busy cooking in the studio.”

The incident happened in Los Angeles, US.
Her tragic death has left many in the Latin music community in mourning, including music producer Jimmy Humilde and Juan Moises, lead singer of Los Gemelos de Sinaloa.
Times J Martinez, a music producer and engineer, expressed his sorrow in a message in Spanish, saying it was painful that such a talented young musician’s life was taken so violently.
“It hurts that it happened with violence.”

Food influencer dies after being shot
Separately, TikTok content creator Michael Duarte died on November 8 during a confrontation with police.
Duarte reportedly threatened the officers with a knife.
This prompted one of them to fire two shots at him.
