During an interview with Ramogi, the lawmaker confessed that she receives many raunchy photos and videos from young men on WhatsApp.
According to her, some of these men are too young to be her grandson.
Millie condemned the despicable act, saying this young generation should be taught self-control and moral decency.
“Some of these young men sent me raunchy videos and photos on WhatsApp, saying their cassavas are big and asking if I would be interested in them. Some of them are young enough to be my grandsons, sending me such a message. There is a need to restore respect. I don’t know whether it’s the effects of smoking or we have failed as parents to teach our kids,” she said.
Millie shared an example of a situation where she was on a political podium with Boyd Were, the 27-year-old ODM candidate for Kasipul, and found it difficult to keep up with her usual dance moves, as Boyd was young enough to be her child.
“Recently, when I was campaigning, I’m used to making weird dances on political podiums, but when I saw Boyd Were coming in front, I had to step back, because I see him as my son. He is a young man; there must be respect for us. Let’s be respectful. I appeal to our young men and women to be upright. If you feel the urge to engage in private activities, look for a room and go do them privately,” Millie said.
