Nairobi, Kenya: Liz Clement, a beautiful woman who went to console the late Betty Bayo’s husband, Tash, has received a lot of backlash from Kenyans for her kind gesture.

Tash became a widower after Betty died of blood cancer at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), which was diagnosed late. He was left to care for his late wife’s kids, Sky and Danny.

Days after the beloved musician was buried, his friend, identified as Liz, went to visit him, and they posted a video together.

In the video, the two were having a conversation, and Tash was trying his best to smile despite the prevailing circumstances.

“I woke up to my post going viral on both IG and TikTok, and while I respect everyone’s opinions, the sudden attention has been overwhelming,” said Liz.

“If this is what online bullying feeljs like, I now understand why the bill matters… I am a lastborn, and I get nosebleeds whenever I am angry. Please leave me alone,” she said.

What did Liz want?

A friend of Tash, identified as Favoured Jane, wondered why it was wrong for Liz to offer a shoulder to her childhood friend.

“Can’t you just see this post without focusing on the fact that they are different genders and see it as someone who is offering his friend a shoulder to lean on at this hard time?” asked Jane.

“Liz doesn’t want anything, so banish those thoughts. I know Liz, and she is a genuine and respectable woman,” she added.

Another story revealed that Tash has lost a lot of weight after burying his dear wife only a few days ago at Mugumo Estate in Kiambu.

At the burial, Tash vowed to continue keeping her legacy alive as well as protect her children.
