What happened to Bilal Wanjau?
She shared a video where she and the actor were enjoying some fun moments as she helped him to his feet.

Dacha announced Bilal’s cause of death. She revealed that the actor died due to diabetes-related complications.
The actress revealed that his burial was set for Friday, December 12, in Machakos. She asked Kenyans to keep him in their prayers.
TUKO.co.ke uncovered his last post on TikTok. The video dated August 5 showed a different side of the actor.
He was jovial and singing his heart out. He sang along to The Lady in Red by Chris De Burgh. The actor passionately sang with a microphone next to his mouth.

Tony Sherman, in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, mourned his fellow actor with a tearjerking tribute.
“I’m heartbroken to hear the passing of Bilal, the great actor always cheerful on set. Cracking jokes each and every time. I remember when he did the role of an MCA, he brought it out perfectly. Rest in peace, BAZENGA 🕊,” he said.
A fan of Bilal Alaine Akinyi also mourned the actor with a touching tribute. She said:
“Wanjau was one of the best actors of our times. He was passionate about his career and I will remember him for his great acting skills and advertising roles. From Tahidi High, Gavanq, Njoroge wa Uba to Hullabaloo Estate, he indeed left us entertained. He was talented! He is irreplaceable! May his soul rest in perfect peace. My prayers to his family and colleagues in the industry.”

Betty Bayo’s death
Bilal’s death follows that of gospel star Betty Bayo who passed away on November 10.
The musician was diagnosed with blood cancer.
She was laid to rest in her land in Kiambu. with her family and friends a week after her demise.
