A young woman who earns KSh 725,000 as a salary in America has shocked Kenyans with how much she spends on bills, leaving her with only KSh 39,000.

The young woman shared a video on her Instagram page, where she listed some of her expenses, including rent, which takes up KSh 323,000 ($2,500), car insurance at KSh 129,000 (1,000), car mortgage at KSh 129,000 ($1,000), and child support taking up KSh 103,000 ($800). Electricity costs KSh 26,000 (200), and other expenses take KSh 13,000 ($100).

“I remain with only KSh 39,000, and that is my American dream,” she said.
