In the latest twist, Betty’s mother, who resides in the United States, sparked reactions after going on TikTok live alongside content creator Shiru wa Oakland, revealing what Betty had told her in the days leading up to her passing.

Battling tears, Betty’s mum recalled that in the week before her death on November 10, Betty reached out to her with an emotionally laden message.

She claimed that Betty’s marriage had been on the rocks and that she had faced assault in the past.
“Woi woi Mummy, who did you leave me with over here?” Betty reportedly said, her voice breaking as she spoke on the phone.
Touching on the controversial topic of who should take custody of Betty’s children, her mother expressed her willingness to raise them.
She noted that while the children are currently on break from school, she would prefer them to be with their aunts as she prepares to travel back to Kenya.
