During a recent TikTok live session, Betty’s mum shared her plans to safeguard her late daughter’s assets as an inheritance for her children.
She also advised the kids’ biological father, Prophet Kanyari, to take official custody from the stepfather, Tash.
What stood out most were her claims about the state of Betty’s marriage with Tash in the months leading up to her death, claiming that Tash had never officially paid dowry or married her.
Reacting to these revelations, Triza, who has been in the headlines for much of the year due to her failed marriage with fellow gospel singer Karangu Muraya, took to Facebook to share advice with other women.
In her post, Triza highlighted how many women endure challenges in marriage but remain silent for fear of public judgment.
She advised people to avoid airing their romantic relationships on social media, writing:
“My fellow women, stop staying in situations where you suffocate yourself just because of what people might say… Ask me, and I will tell you… And stop letting social media romances control you… Here, people often pretend everything is fine, so they don’t speak… That’s why I told you to eat your greens without stress.”
While Triza did not explicitly mention her own marriage, the timing of the post led many to believe she was referring to her experiences with Karangu.

In related news, TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Karangu and his wife, Carol, attracted attention when they attended a church service together.
Although they sat separately during the event, which was held in honour of Reverend Mary Lincoln, their interactions suggested their relationship was going well.
Their appearance came just a day after Karangu and Triza Njeri attended another event.
