Grammy-nominated gospel singer Jubilant Sykes has died after being fatally stabbed at his home.

According to USA Today, his 31-year-old son has been arrested in connection with the murder.
How did Jubilant Sykes die?
According to police, officers responded to a distress call on Monday night, reporting an assault in progress.
Upon arrival, they found the singer suffering from severe stab wounds at his California home. Paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.
The son, Micah Sykes, was present at the home and was taken into custody without incident.
