Kamba musician Stephen Kasolo has shared his pain in learning that a rhino nearly attacked President William Ruto.

The president was in Taita Taveta to witness the symbolic release of the rhino into the wild.
He was accompanied by senior government officials, including Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) Director General Erustus Kanga, National Security Advisor Monica Juma and the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife
When the rhino was released there was a moment of panic after it charged at the head of state, who was in a van with other government officials and US delegates.

The president was tense, and a US delegate was heard in the background teasing the president on his reaction.
She noted that Ruto wanted to jump off the van for a moment, and Ruto admitted that the rhino was headed for him.
The musician, Kasolo, known for his outspoken support for the president, reacted to the news of the rhino nearly attacking the president.
He expressed his anger at the wild animal for nearly harming Ruto and he claimed that he could not find peace after learning about the news
He also admitted that he was angry at the rhino for endangering the president’s life, noting that the head of state’s welfare was of utmost priority.
Kasolo wrote:
“Sorry, my President William Samoei Ruto, I am so angry at this wild animal. It has wronged me a lot. “Good night. I do not have any shred of happiness.”
