A mother has shared screenshots of a heartbreaking conversation with her baby daddy, informing him of their daughter’s death.

Brenda (not her real name) revealed that her daughter had been seriously ill, and she had reached out to her baby daddy for money to take the child to the hospital.
However, Derrick (not his real name) dismissed her request and even blocked her number, leaving her feeling hopeless and helpless. Sadly, the child passed away, leaving her mother devastated.
How did deadbeat baby daddy learn of his daughter’s death?
Three months after her child’s passing, Brenda received a WhatsApp message from the baby daddy.
The message contained a bank account number and PIN, along with a note saying that their daughter’s money was there, and that she should stop being annoying.
Brenda replied, telling Derrick she no longer needed the money and that he should keep it.
“Stop being stubborn, it’s not even your money, it’s your child’s money. You’re ungrateful. Why are you being such a drama queen? I’m not going to beg you to accept the money. I’ll take it if you don’t want it. Should I withdraw it, because I worked for it,” he responded.
Irritated by his response, the grieving mother lashed out at him, explaining that she had tried reaching him for the last ten months, but he refused to answer her calls and then blocked her without listening to her.

Derrick, unmoved, insisted on keeping the money for himself, saying it was his if Brenda continued being dramatic.
“Okay, let me tell you, the time I called you when you blocked me? I wanted to tell you the child was seriously sick. It’s now been three months since we buried her. She passed away. So, the money you just sent, I no longer need it. You can go give it to your stepson, whom you love so wholeheartedly, to the point where you neglected your own blood just because she was a girl. Even if you give that money to your parents, don’t forget to tell them I forgive them. Have an amazing life, because now there’s nothing that binds us.”
After sending the message, Brenda blocked Derrick before he could respond.
