Why does Betty’s family want her body to be exhumed?
Speaking during a TikTok live session with popular social media influencer Shiru wa Oakland, Betty’s brother, Edward Mbugua, explained why the family wants to exhume her body.
“We have a plan to exhume my sister’s body so that a postmortem can be done. We just want to know exactly what happened, and even if it turns out that she did really die from what was said, then our hearts will be at peace. I think even the general public wants to know what really happened,” Mbugua said.
He added that the family is seeking financial help to cover the cost of a pathologist and a lawyer to handle the necessary legal procedures.
Mbugua shared a paybill number, urging well-wishers to contribute, with plans to proceed once everything is in place.
