A photo of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo’s three wives has wowed Kenyans on social media.

The photo, captured while the United Opposition leaders visited Jirongo’s home, was the embodiment of unity.
The three widows sat next to each other, all gracefully poised, wearing similar or rather matching attire.
How many wives did Jirongo have?
The late politician was a polygamous man who had multiple wives during his lifetime. During his daughter Lorraine Jelagat’s burial earlier in the year, he introduced his many children.

He also revealed that he had four wives, although he and Caroline Kittony, his other wife, had separated.
Jirongo admitted that he and Caroline separated due to his ‘wandering eyes,’ and Caroline later found love in another man’s arms.
The MPs’ wives, namely Christine, Anne Kanini and another Anne, had earlier in the week welcomed mourners into their home.
The photo of the wives has elicited reactions on social media, with some noting that they looked alike and one could mistake them for sisters.
