As previously reported, Justice Ibrahim, a founding member of the Supreme Court, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, bringing to an end an illustrious judicial career that spanned more than two decades.

In a statement confirming his passing, the Judiciary said Justice Mohammed Ibrahim died after a long illness.

Joining other Kenyans in paying tribute to the fallen judge, Muli took to social media to express her grief.

The media personality described Justice Ibrahim as a father figure in her life.

In a post shared on Wednesday, December 17, Muli revealed that Justice Ibrahim stepped in as her father after the death of her biological dad.

She said his passing had deeply broken her heart, adding that she would always carry his memory with her.

“Dear dad, you were a dad after my dad passed away. You are in my heart always. I will miss you,” she captioned a photo of the late judge.

Several institutions and prominent figures also mourned Justice Ibrahim’s death.

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK), led by its president Faith Odhiambo, paid glowing tributes in his honour.

In a post on X, Odhiambo described Justice Mohammed Ibrahim as a jurist of integrity and rare grace.

“I have received the sad news of the passing of Hon. Mr Justice Mohammed Ibrahim, SCJ. Justice Ibrahim served on the Bench with unparalleled grace and distinguished intellect. His rare calmness spoke of a man who fully understood judicial authority as an opportunity to serve, and justice as a tool for maintaining social order,” she wrote.
